Superintendent Search Focus Group for Parents and Community Members

Posted Date: 11/18/24 (4:30 PM)

Dear Bolton Families and Community Members,

As you are aware, the process has begun to search for a new Superintendent of Schools.  Last week you were provided information about your participation in an online survey (which is open until Friday, December 13).

An additional way you can participate in the superintendent search process is to attend an in-person focus group.  The focus group is designed to obtain your thoughts about the following:

  • What are the qualities, characteristics, skills, knowledge, and experiences you desire in a new Superintendent of Schools?

  • What do you see as the pressing tasks and challenges ahead for the new superintendent in year one?

The focus group will be held:            Monday, December 2
                                                                    6:30 p.m.
                                                       Bolton High School Library

Mark Winzler, a search consultant with the New England School Development Council (NESDEC), will facilitate the focus group.  He is assisting the Bolton Board of Education throughout the search process

You are encouraged to participate in both the focus group and the survey.
