School Profile and Performance Reports

Each year, the State of Connecticut Department of Education produces annual reports for all of the public school districts and their schools. We use this information, along with a variety of other evaluative measures, to continually improve in meeting the needs of all students.

Connecticut’s Next Generation Accountability System
The Next Generation Accountability System is a broad set of 12 indicators that help tell the story of how well a school is preparing its students for success in college, careers and life. The system moves beyond test scores and graduation rates and instead provides a more holistic, multi-factor perspective of district and school performance and incorporates student growth over time.

The Profile and Performance Reports

The Profile and Performance Reports and their predecessor reports (the Strategic School Profiles) were developed in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes 10-220(c). Each year, the State of Connecticut Department of Education produces these annual reports for all of the public-school districts and their schools. These comprehensive summaries include district data related to the four areas of Students, Educators, Instruction and Resources, and Performance and Accountability. The information is available for the school district as well as for individual schools and is provided by the state for one school year in arrears.

The following are the most current reports from the state, and represent information for the 2022-2023 school year:
