   Bolton Center School 2nd Graders

on the Community Voice Channel

During the spring of 2013, the second graders at Bolton Center School worked extremely hard during their class time in the Library Media Center to create "Reading Rainbow" style videos.  Each class brainstormed a list of topics for their video, narrowed down the topic choices based on whether or not they felt the topics they had come up with could be easily researched and have a story tie-in, voted on their favorite topic idea, came up with a variety of questions they wanted to answer on the topic selected, did the research to answer those questions, created two different back drops for their video, learned and performed the theme song and starred in the video segments.  It was a lot of work but all four classes worked with great enthusiasm and excitement.  During the last week of school the students were able to view their finished product.  Now YOU can view their videos as well.  The four videos will be airing on The Community Voice Channel's Educational Access Channel  (cable channel 95). They can also be viewed live on-line by going to and clicking on the Education Channel.  Check out the listings below!
